Hadley Group has announced that it will be co-exhibiting at Vine Expo with Vineworks and Gripple on 11th July at Plumpton College in East Sussex. The company will showcase its range of steel vineposts for supporting vine crops on stand 76 at the one-day, free to attend event.
The inaugural edition of the viticulture exhibition will bring together technical developers, innovators and suppliers from across the wine industry. At Vine Expo, Hadley Group will showcase how its expertise in the production of cold rolled steel products has enabled the company to develop a unique range of steel vineposts that offer fruit farmers and wine producers a unique combination of durability, stability and value.
The industry-leading vineposts are manufactured from Hadley Group’s innovative UltraSTEEL® cold rolled pre-forming process that locally work hardens the base metal. Thanks to the UltraSTEEL® process Hadley Group manufactures a range of effective steel profiles that deliver improved product efficiency, weight saving and a reduction in the use of raw materials.
By undergoing the UltraSTEEL® process, Hadley Group’s vineposts outperform traditional wooden vine pickets or alternative metal vine supports on a number of levels. The units provide high rigidity for exceptional load carrying capacity, high stability in the ground due to greater surface area and extreme flexibility to help the posts spring back into position even when rotated as much as 180 degrees. The disease resistant steel product helps to produce a healthier crop and guarantees corrosion-resistance for up to 25 years.
Hadley Group’s vineposts have been tailored to meet the specific support needs of wine growers around the world and are available in a range of lengths and strengths to suit varying requirements. The result of extensive product development, the posts can be supplied powder coated, pre-galvanised and chromed in a range of colours. Additionally, Hadley Group can design and produce custom-made vineposts and develop prototype samples at its in-house facility, that once approved, can be manufactured at high volumes and delivered to site in a timely manner ready for installation.
Speaking about Hadley Group’s plans to exhibit at Vine Expo, Sales Manager, Adam Lyness commented: “We’re looking forward to seeing what the first edition of Vine Expo will bring and it is a great opportunity to network with wine producers and fruit farmers from across the country.”
