Sulky UK is using its presence at LAMMA 2017 to rollout its new self-winding covers for its X40+ and X50+ fertiliser spreaders.
First shown at CropTec 2016, visitors to Sulky’s stand at LAMMA will be able to see the new rolling action cover fitted to its flagship X50+ spreader. The new cover is available as an option on all new X40+ and X50+ spreaders and can be retro-fitted to existing models.
The new half-moon shaped cover is hydraulically driven and can be operated manually, or remotely from within the tractor cab. The remote action simplifies loading operations, especially when operators are working without assistance.
The rolling action, which winds from the centre of the cover mechanism, has been designed to reduce hopper contamination with dirt and water. To help loading operations, the cover can be rolled back clear of the hopper, and the centralised lock on the handle-side makes it simple to secure the cover in open and closed positions.
The new cover aims to further improve efficiency of operation when using Sulky’s precision fertiliser spreaders.
Additionally, Sulky will present a range of its latest spreader, drill and cultivation equipment at LAMMA, including: X40+ spreader, DX30+TRIBORD spreader, flagship XEOS Pro 3m drill and proprietary Cultiline XR mounted cultivation tool, Kronos tine drill, XEOS TF drill with front-mounted hopper, Cultiline HR 3m power harrows, Cultiline XR 4m cultivation tool, and Cultidisc Tool Bar.
