Bobcat is reducing the need for manual labour, wheelbarrows, shovels and hand tools, with the release of its new MT100 mini track loader.
The MT100 offers users a loader that can work in the smallest and tightest of spaces. It has a standard width of just 904mm, a ground pressure of 36 kPa (5.25 psi), and 180mm narrow tracks. With the Wide Track Option, the overall width increases to 1045mm, with the tracks increasing to 250mm. This increased width reduces the loader’s ground pressure to 30kPa (3.97 psi). It also has a lift height of 2057mm, plus a ground clearance of 205mm.
The loader’s operating capacity is 460kg, and it has a tipping load of 1314kg when the counterweights are positioned in the front undercarriage. When the counterweights are repositioned to the rear uprights, the loader’s lift capacity increases to 485kg and the tipping load increases to 1387kg.
The 25hp Kubota engine enables a forward travel speed of 6.6 km/h and a reverse speed of 4.7 km/h.
The MT100’s integrated ride-on platform offers the user a wider view of the sides of the machine, as well as the bucket cutting edge or attachment. Combined with the track system, the ride-on platform on the MT100 provides a smooth ride for enhanced operator comfort and confidence. There is also ISO joystick controls.
