If you have an excellent track record of on-farm sales and a thorough understanding of arable inputs, this could be the perfect opportunity for you to step into a technical sales role.

In this role you would be responsible for advising customers and colleagues on liming products. Your time would be split between working from home and travelling your territory making farm visits. This company already has a network of account managers in place who you will support by providing technical knowledge and stepping in to advise customers directly where necessary.

Additionally, you will be tasked with bringing in new business and supporting the company’s marketing efforts by attending industry events and promoting products.

The ideal candidate for this position will be someone who has prior experience selling to farmers and has good communication skills. Strong technical knowledge of arable farming and liming products is essential. FACTS qualifications would be desirable but training can be provided for the right person.

Role:

  • Be the inhouse agricultural lime expert
  • Advise customers and colleagues on the technical aspects of liming
  • Support Account Management team
  • Manage existing customer accounts
  • Business development
  • Support Marketing efforts – Attend industry events, promote products, etc
  • Extensive travel in the East of England

 

What you will have:

  • FACTS qualification (Desirable)
  • On farm sales experience
  • Knowledge of arable inputs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Commutable to the East of England
  • Full UK driving license
