Equipment worth $1m is being provided by Doosan Bobcat to support the relief and recovery operation in the earthquake-striken parts of Turkiye.
The company’s dealer network will support the delivery of construction equipment to help with lifesaving activities and restoring infrastructure in the devastated region. Equipment being supplied includes skid-steer loaders and excavators to remove and clean debris, and portable generators and lighting towers to be used at sites with power supply issues.
By providing this equipment, Doosan Bobcat hopes to help residents to begin to recover their lives as soon as possible.
The donation will be financed in cooperation with Doosan Bobcat’s mother company, Doosan Group, which has supported previous major disasters with equipment and donations, such as hurricanes and earthquakes in the U.S., China, Haiti, Japan and Nepal over the past 20-plus years.
