Graindex Launched in October 2017, in a first of its kind move to take independent grain trading online. Now benefiting both arable farmers from all over England, Wales and Scotland and more than a 100 registered buyers, Graindex are celebrating their 5th Anniversary having secured their place in leading independent online grain trading in the UK.
Graindex is destined to hit half a million tonnes of listed grain by the end of this year, and having achieved 100% year on year growth, the team are excited about the opportunity that lies ahead.
Co-founder Andrew Huxham commented, ”Throughout our four busy daily trading periods, farmers receive an average of 3 bids on their grain listing and, depending on market conditions, occasionally receive 5, 6 or 7. We set out to enable a transparent, simple and intuitive way to trade grain online from out on the farm to inside the office. We give farmers the option to sell at the fairest price on the day, and buyers the chance to source the product they need with the market clarity essential for the competitive edge. We have certainly accomplished that mission.”

Every farmer listing grain will be entered into the weekly prize draw, and have their chance to win these great prizes.
