Omex Agriculture has appointed Clive Deeley as its new sales manager south, to strengthen the southern UK business and support farmers switching to liquid fertiliser.
With over four decades in the fertiliser industry Mr Deeley is perfectly placed to maintain and build the Omex brand in an area of the country that has seen significant growth in liquid solution fertilisers, foliar sprays and biostimulants in all crops.
Mr Deeley said: “The use of liquid fertiliser is growing rapidly within the UK. Key benefits include application accuracy, improved environmental credentials, reduced labour and storage. Application accuracy in particular is having a significant positive impact on improving nitrogen use efficiency.”
Omex has 11 liquid nitrogen storage facilities located strategically across the UK and a nationwide storage capacity of 180,000 tonnes, giving new and existing customers access to products and continuity of supply.
